FOX Shock Servicing in Cairns
FlexAppeal 4x4 is a registered FOX service centre in Cairns. We service and rebuild FOX shocks in our Bungalow workshop, so there's no need to send them away.
Corrugations, heat and kilometres wear out even the best shocks. If your FOX shocks are leaking, fading or just overdue, we'll strip them down and bring them back to spec.
What a FOX rebuild includes
- Full strip-down and clean
- Shaft, body, piston and shim stack inspected
- New seals, O-rings and wear parts
- Fresh shock oil and a nitrogen recharge
- Reassembled and checked before it goes back on your 4x4
Signs your shocks need a service
- Oil weeping from the shaft seal or reservoir
- The ride feels harsh, floaty or fades on long corrugated roads
- Knocks, clunks or a loss of damping
- They've done plenty of dirt kilometres since their last service
How to get your FOX shocks serviced
- Book online and choose RFQ – Request For Quote, or call us on 0401 542 522.
- Bring your 4x4 in and we'll remove and refit the shocks, or drop off shocks you've already taken off.
- We'll confirm the price before any work starts.
